WATTS AUTOMATION – VALPES S.A.S. is committed to ensuring that the sales packaging and transport packaging used for our products comply with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (“PPWR”), starting on 12 August 2026.

Scope of our compliance approach

Our compliance approach covers all our product packaging, shipping cartons, pallets, protective materials, labels and other relevant packaging components used for placing products on the EU market, handling, storage and delivery.

We assess packaging against the relevant PPWR requirements, including Article 5 on substance- and material-related requirements. Where we are the manufacturer of the packaging unit, we carry out the conformity assessment under Article 38 and draw up the EU Declaration of Conformity in accordance with Article 39.

Documentation and internal controls

We maintain the required technical documentation in line with Annex VII and, where applicable, EU Declarations of Conformity in line with Annex VIII for the legally required period.

Our internal controls cover both incoming packaging and outgoing packaged goods. Changes in materials, design, suppliers, processes or applicable standards are reviewed and may trigger reassessment.

This statement reflects our current PPWR compliance approach and may be updated as legal requirements, guidance or standards develop.
